Can you provide a bit more explanation of what you're seeing? As to not seeing any playlists in the Sound panel, is the checkbox for iTunes enabled and/or the iTunes app running?

MA 3 for the Mac gets the list of playlists by querying the iTunes app (through AppleScript), which requires that the iTunes app is running (if it isn't, then it is launched). If the checkbox for iTunes is disabled (indicating that you don't want music played while the aquarium is running) and the iTunes app is not running, then we don't run the script to get the playlists. The idea is that if you have the music option turned off, you probably don't want iTunes launched every time you run MA (or bring up the preferences). Turning on the music option or launching iTunes will result in the list being populated.
