You obviously don't know a whole heck of a lot about computers.
Windows 2000 and XP are designed to run with up to 4,096 MB of RAM.
How do you think servers run with only 512MB?
I have 640MB of RAM right now.

just curious why you got Plus XP if you already had the full 20 fish version of the Aquarium?
It does sound like you need a different set of video drivers. Also, how many background programs do you have running? I'd check to see if one of those is the hold-up.
