I keep my screen saver at max rez. 1280x1024 for my 17" Sony. and I get about 88 FPS with vsync off on my Voodoo 5500.

Things in the aquarium are not too small as some would think. Everything is the same size as if it was on a 800x600 rez screen. But at the higher resolution, everything is much more crisp and clean. Allows for much more detail to be seen.

Its not like having the desktop rez set that high , and having microscopic icons to work with

(Which brings up another subject. Why isn't there a desktop mode for windows that uses the 3D card to draw with? 3D windows?)
