Re: So, I was at the local Computer Fair today....
The local computer trade show in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is where my wife and I first saw the Aquarium, this last weekend. It was being shown on a mid-sized plasma screen and looked stunning... we were captivated!
Unfortunately one of the many propeller heads doing the rounds saw us gawping at the screen and immediately launched into a storm of tech-speak… thinking that we were interested in the monitor! He was enjoying himself so much that my wife and I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was the screensaver we were looking at!!!
I asked the guy on the stall what it was and he said it was just called “Fish…” he didn’t know anything else about it. Anyway, I put “Fish Screensaver” into Google and fairly quickly made it to Aquarium home page… my wife and I are now enjoying our virtual aquarium, and registering the ‘Basic’ version has got to be the best $10 I’ve ever spent!
As for the guys with the sign, I think that’s a pretty crappy attitude to take! They obviously use the Aquarium to demonstrate their systems, and equally obviously have been inundated with requests for it in the past.
You think they’d have the decency to put the Aquarium url on their nasty little sign as well!!!
