Last night I was baby-sitting a good friends' 15-month-old and trying to finish some HTML homework at the same time. It was very hard to do!

When I took Thomas into the other room to change him the Aquarium had kicked itself on because I have it set to run after five minutes of inactivity. He heard the bubbles and was very excited to get back into the computer room.

Needless to say, I did not get any homework done for the rest of the night, and Thomas's mom was wondering what "ello ish" meant when she came to pick him up.

We played a game called "find the yellow fish" for about two hours.

ME: "Where'd he go? Where's the yellow fish? Uh-Oh! He's gone!"

THOMAS: "ello ish! der! ELLO ISH!"

ME: "Yay! Yellow fish! There you are!"

THOMAS: "uh-oh! ello ish gone!"

ME: "Where'd he go? Where's yellow fish?"

THOMAS: "Light!!"

ME: "ohh... no more light! Good night fish."

THOMAS: "priddy ish... uh-oh! ELLO ISH! DER!"

ME: "Yes! There's yellow fish! Hello yellow fish!"

Then I would add another tang and the excitement escalated. Oh my! Two ello ish!

...it continued for a while onto blue fish, red fish and lion fish. But Ello Ish was his favorite.
