That is VERY close. But the creature I saw was closer in body shape to the average mantis. But the abdomen look a lot like that. That pic is missing the spikes the one I saw had....

I agree with keeping the code tight. Although I'm not a "real" programmer I have done it in years gone by. Back when 4k was all you had to program with. Programmers nowadays seem to be getting pretty...

Getting too realistic?
I don't know if this has come up yet, but how about having the fish actually grow? Have the selected fish start at a young age, and watch as they mature. This could be done at a selectable time...
