With no one in the house and few distractions, my work time is a little more predictable. Even if I wanted to get away from the computer desk, I'm not sure I could make it past all the pizza boxes.

Jav400 02-04-2009 03:13 PM

Well that's better than peanut butter I guess. :)

upgrade

Looks like recent purchases of MA3 are having a beneficial effect! Pizza is definitely an upgrade!

Jim Sachs 02-04-2009 08:28 PM

A matter of opinion.

Yeah I'd say it depends on the pizza, but hey I'm a New Yorker.:TU:

Just purchased MA3. Every month will be like XMAS as you add new stuff.

btw... when the fish move through the bubbles shouldn't the bubbles change appearance?

Jim Sachs 02-06-2009 09:54 PM

It's on the list. In all previous versions there were 12 independant foreground bubbles in front of a moving "mist". In MA3, there are 600 individual bubbles. That raises the possiblitily of actually deflecting them when they hit a fish. Just one of many potential enhancements made possible by the code overhaul.

err a stupid idea ... the clock is something useful but when the screen scroll, she disappear until the scroll made it reappeare. is it possible to solve this, i don't know how, perhaps two cloks, perhaps with a little remain on the screen... keep up the good work and waiting for beta 10 ;)

cjmaddy 02-07-2009 06:10 AM

Solution? ... Get two monitors! ..... :)

Just press "P" and the screen will stop.

Or, in Program Settings, uncheck the "Auto Pan" box.

Jim Sachs 02-07-2009 10:00 AM

Pressing "P" is the same as unchecking Autopan in Settings. The program will remember the setting.

Jim Sachs 02-07-2009 10:04 AM

Thanks, Cliff, but I may be all pizza-ed out for a while. Had a stomach ache all night. Can't wait 'till my wife comes home next Wednesday.

zeeric 02-07-2009 01:24 PM

errr yes i know that "p" exist but i don't want to loose the scroll ;-) else, it would never be possible to have a background picture on all the tanks ? it s only for tank without 3d object ?

Jim Sachs 02-07-2009 01:30 PM

zeeric -

Adding another clock object would take a very long time, and most of the users are eager to see some progress in the main section of the tank. Bringing the clams to life is high on the list.

Ralph 02-07-2009 07:42 PM

Just a thought :D...before you start on the clams.. How about a static "ticker tape" in the sand. As the SS scrolls this would give a neat effect and there is no end of stuff you could run in there.. date and time.. possibly a live feed from your local stock market.. perhaps a personal message reminder... the current song playing.. I mean this could really be something:drool:

feldon34 02-07-2009 07:52 PM

Ralph,

Do you have a deathwish?

Ralph 02-07-2009 08:28 PM

A moment of madness...:D

Jim Sachs 02-07-2009 08:58 PM

I'll pretend I didn't see that.
