Panning Stuck in Neutral

Hi Jim
I recently updated my GeForce 7200 to a Geforce 9800 GT. Everything in MA 3 was running fine under the former. However when I ran MA 3 under my Geforce 9800 I lost the ability to pan. However the program will let me pan in windowed mode without difficulty. I d/l 'd the latest drivers (dated Aug 17/2009) . It didn't help. I also checked to see if changing the sleep mode would help. It doesn't.
Thanks for your suggestions

Wow - I have no idea what's going on there.

I have experienced various graphic problems after updating video cards or drivers.

bigbass22, - Have you tried reinstalling DirectX and rebooting?
After fitting new video cards or installing new video drivers I always reinstall DirectX and then reboot.
..... It might be worth trying, it's always worked for me.

First the obvious...............

Does it still move using the arrow keys, and I am assuming that you have hit the "P" key to make sure its not just in pause mode?

Cjmaddy and Michael a big thank you for your suggestions. I reinstalled Direct X and rebooted as suggested and was rewarded with a panning screen. Everything back to normal.
Thanks again

Jim H, - That is music to my ears! - I am very glad that it solved your problem.

Jim S,
I think the first thing to recommend when video cards/drivers have been changed and MA faults are reported, should be to reinstall DirectX/reboot.
It's proved to be the solution too many times for it to be a coincidence.

It has long been told by nvidia and others that reinstalling DX with a driver change is recommended. That isn't anything new. The general problem is getting people to do it, most don't want to take the time.

Agreed, reinstalling DirectX and rebooting should be standard procedure.
