That's 11 am Sunday Dec. 8th in Japan/Korea. I think I can wake up by then. :) I hope Jim will have something new to announce! :) I'll keep my fingers crossed. X (is there a better way to type that?)

Jim Sachs 11-25-2002 01:22 PM

Nothing new to announce. Just a friendly chat.

diverslung 11-26-2002 08:53 AM

Sounds good!!
Could anyone tell me what time this is in Europe?

Tiny Turtle 11-26-2002 09:35 AM

Add six hours to Eastern US for Central Europe Time (CET)

Guess you and I have to be up between 03.00 and 04.00 – Hmmm, not sure I like that time... (Then again – someone's bound to get a bad time since there's a "global" interest in the SSA).

feldon34 11-30-2002 10:27 AM

Who needs sleep on a Saturday night. :D

EddieWan 12-02-2002 08:04 PM

Hope we have a much nicer turn out than last time. I'm planning to be here, but can't guarentee it for sure.

feldon34 12-04-2002 02:11 AM

Well, I just threw the big switch. I found a good e-mail program which lets me paste the list of addresses into Excel and away they went. :)

So everyone here on the Forum should have gotten an e-mail, plus anyone who has registered on my website. It was a total of 4,800 e-mail addresses.

I really must have Michael or someone proofread these things before I send them. Every time I do it, there's some kind of glitch. *sigh* I hope the SereneScreen tech support folks don't wake up with 200 e-mails in their box. I put "sachsnotify@serenescreen.com" as the return address. :(

A Tech's Nightmare!!

Now that really is funny!!

SimonFearby 12-07-2002 10:02 AM

Have I missed it(Australia)?

SimonFearby 12-07-2002 10:19 AM

My ISP is broken and the Web Chat link above is broken (for me via work RAS).

Could someone please email me the chat log when the chat is over please.

sachs-chat-log-7dec-2002-simon@fearby.com

Yes the email is real

Thanks

feldon34 12-07-2002 10:50 AM

Simon,

I saw you come into the chatroom, you just didn't say anything that I could see.

The chat logs will be posted here in this forum topic. Click the "Subscribe to this Thread" button near the bottom of this page.

diverslung 12-07-2002 05:30 PM

I achieved no mail...

feldon34 12-07-2002 06:28 PM

Hmm. I sent e-mails to every person who has registered at my website to receive news, and I sent e-mails to every person who registered here on the forum since July. I guess you registered between the last time I harvested the forum e-mails and July. Must've been a month window or less though. Hmmm.

diverslung 12-08-2002 05:13 AM

feldon,
I think it could have been my fault: I did't select the email-news-option in my forum-profile...
Maybe next time. BTW thank you for the nice morning-chat!
After several problems to drop in I really had a good time.
One question: Wouldn't it be good to always have the opportunity to chat with online forum-members? What speaks against an 24-hours-chatroom here?

Jav400 12-08-2002 07:41 AM

diverslung,

The chatroom is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All members are welcome to drop in at any time.

feldon34 12-08-2002 11:12 AM

We used to get 5-6 people early Thursday and Friday evenings (USA time). But that was a year ago. I stay connected to the chat since I work at home and get a few people a week who have trouble with the Aquarium. I walk them through checking out their video card drivers, etc. until we get it working.

Dathomir 12-20-2002 06:49 AM

Any idea when we can view the chat transcript?

SunKing 12-20-2002 06:52 AM

Yes, I'm also curious when we may see the chat log.

drfish 12-20-2002 01:58 PM

Me too...
