no one asks you to shut up - but you should keep on topic...

btw. where are the goldfishes?

Leviathan 04-03-2003 03:34 PM

Seriously though, are we to expect the Goldfosh soon (like today or tomorrow) or should I stop wasting my time and check back in 3 or 4 days...or more :(

Reichart 04-03-2003 03:35 PM

More.

feldon34 04-03-2003 04:30 PM

2~4 weeks.

Digital Lungfish 04-04-2003 02:33 AM

Sorry to say it guys, but if that "24" hour deal was meant to be an April Fools joke, then you guys are too cruel. :(

I had my heart all set on seeing some fat little goldies swimming/waddling around the new aquarium. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait! ;)

kona001 04-06-2003 11:33 AM

I just pray for there to be a large, fat, redcap included.

kona001 04-06-2003 11:45 AM

By redcaps I don't mean the redcap orandas which have that ugly brain on them, I mean the redcap fantail goldfish similar to the picture shown by Vish where he called it a comet. It's the white goldfish with the red cap on its head. The most sought after redcaps are the ones that are perfectly round and centered. I also like them when the red covers part of the face. If I find any pictures that I like, I post them

Discovery One 04-06-2003 01:01 PM

Y'know... I like the ones with the brain hanging out....

IXNAY 04-06-2003 03:02 PM

So reichart, why did you say watch the site the next 24hours?
Was it really just an Apriljoke?

Reichart 04-06-2003 03:13 PM

No, it was not a joke, had you gone to the site minutes before I posted that, there would not have been anything there. Now there is a place to sign up for the coming product. Next week the site will bloom, and the week after that, the first beta will appear.

IXNAY 04-07-2003 06:57 AM

Jihaw, cool news, thanks :D
Thats a great birthdaypresent *g*

Some of these posts were very amusing. I suppose it is true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for I think the Goldfish in all of its unique forms are the most beautiful fish in God's blue waters. They relate very well with their keepers and are soooo relaxing to watch. Mine even beg for food and will eat from my fingers. Enjoy!!

feldon34 04-14-2003 04:36 PM

And to think, so many Goldfish species were created by man....

Reichart 04-14-2003 04:40 PM

Actually, there are no Goldfish species; they are all different races of a carp.

Koi being the closest living relative I believe. Coloration aside, Koi resemble carp very closely, including the lip barbs.

Don't understand the hooplah, they are GOLDFISH! The only thing I would like to see is a bigger fish that eats them!!

feldon34 04-15-2003 09:06 PM

Wait til you see it.

The fish have AI and huge fins that move realistically.

IXNAY 04-16-2003 11:07 AM

Can't wait :D

What would you pay for that?

snorkler,

Don't encourage Reichart, I'm afraid of what might happen. :)
