Aquarium disappears from control panel
 

No one replied to my original mention of this problem, but now it's happened in a different way a couple of times:

After rebooting XP, the Fish screensaver simply disappears from the screensaver control panel. A couple of times, I walked away from my machine and came back quite a bit later to discover that the screensaver hadn't kicked in (as it should after 10 minutes).

The reason is that in the Screensaver tab, Fish no longer exists. It just disappeared. I have to go back into \Windows\System, right-click on Fish.scr, and Install again.

Forget about my previous mention of the switch box. That's another problem that still exists -- if I switch monitor/keyboard/mouse control to another CPU when the screensaver is on, then switch back to the first CPU, I don't get my mouse back. I get around it by not switching the switchbox when the screensaver is going. But that problem is not related to the disappearing screensaver problem.

Weird, huh.
