By the way, the official version on the SereneScreen site has also been v10a for the last day or two.

However, the release notes there only go up to

3.0 (1735) 2009-3-2

Rather than the "1861" and a recent date for V10a.

So, there's no way for anybody to tell that v10a is there. [Except for your note here, or downloading it and comparing file sizes]

No! ... You've been told here, - or you can download it and look! - It now shows Beta10a in the stats, - and the clams now move!

It's reasonable to presume that the majority of MA3 users do not read this forum.

How often should the "normal purchaser" download it and look?

Probably about as often as they are interested in finding out if there is an update or not...................
