Are you referring to the logos, or the fact that I finally figured out that I could post the png files without zipping them all up? ;)

Regardless, thanks!

The enlarged logos. :)

Japanese Kanji for, I believe "sei," a term which means silent, calm, quiet, still, and serene. Seemed appropriate.

Hiya. Sorry, I guess I've sort of hijacked this thread. Since most of mine are already posted here though, it seemed more efficient than starting a new one. Anyway, here are some more logos. The first it a 3d rendering of a pyramid.

Next up, for the fine art lovers, is the sculpture entitled "Winged Victory."

Not fine art. But some may like it anyway.

Same dragon, colors inverted and with the contrast tweaked.

I know most people are using Adobe but I was curious to know what effects or filters you are using to enhance the "carved" look when your image is projected on the crystal in MAT2. I'm one of the few who use PSP and I would like to cross reference whatever methods people are using in Adobe.
Some of my logos (even when opacity is measured appropriately) just seem to hang on the crystal instead of having that natural feeling, if you know what I mean. Your help is much appreciated.

I'm really surprised by how similar PSP is to Photoshop. I installed it for the first time last night and I almost immediately found all the tools necessary to create a logo. Working on a guide now...

My father has used PSP for years and knows his way around real well, however JASC really shook things up with their latest version (8.0). Jim Sachs attested to the fact earlier that he also does not care for 8.0 and still chooses to use 7.0 for his PSP needs, except I believe he's more into Adobe.
Evidently the tools have been moved all over the place from PSP version 7.0 to 8.0, which is why my father and I have had one heck of a time figuring out many of the new convoluted processes. It appears many of the functions have become more difficult as a result of JASC attempting to simplify the program. How's that for irony!

Thanks again Morgan for diving into unchartered waters and helping those of us who use PSP!

Then that must be it. They made PSP8 look and act like Photoshop.

I guess I need to download PSP7 if I am going to create tutorials for you guys.

drfish 07-08-2004 07:57 AM

I own and use 7 at home, 8 at work... I much prefer 7 as well.

Jim Sachs 07-08-2004 10:37 AM

Spydrwebb - That's exactly my problem. Up to 7.0, PSP was getting a lot of it's ideas from the best paint program of all, Deluxe Paint. Now they have tried to become more like Photoshop, hiding commands and putting more steps between you and what you want to accomplish.
