Have it in the registry by default as most casual users will not be too bothered about the music so this keeps the computer free of opne less file and then in the settings panel you could have a checkbox to ask if the user wants a .pls file to be used instead of the registry and then everyone would be happy!

I wouldn't want to increase my registry with a playlist of 1000's of MP3's... it's big as it is already... ;)

If you want to use a playlist which would be that long you would check use the external playlist such as .pls checkbox and then the playlist would be the separate external file.

You guys don't have to be so harsh. I am merely giving an honest user oriented suggestion and this gives basic users and advanced users the option to have the music system exactly as they prefer by the use of a single checkbox.

What could be simpler!

Thanks

Neil

I just know Jim.

The part of the Aquarium he HATE HATE HATES the most is programming, and even more than that is programming the dialog boxes and logic.

Having an internal AND external playlist doubles his debugging and programming time on this feature.

Ultimately he will decide what he wants to do anyway. We can only suggest.

All true.

Actually, it's an exponential function, so it probably quadruples the programming effort. And it quadruples the opportunity for beta-testers (and real users) to comment and/or suggest real improvements.

We've already got people upset that the Aquarium even HAS a playlist feature.
