I'm sure she'll make it to Sweden before too long. Next weekend it's Transylvania for a belated Halloween.

I lived in Transilvania 12 years ago but then nobody from my closer acquaintance discuss or celebrate Halloween. I don't know if now through the media influence the things changed.

Have you thought of releasing betas when the background is done, and only a few fish are done, just like the 0.99 version builds got more and more fish?

At the moment me and my wife are converting from NAUI Divemasters to PADI Instructors. Never been so exhausted in my life before... :)
It's really a lot to read and learn... and after a day of work, I'm not usually up to study.

Anyway, nice to hear that there's some progress on the aquarium.

Interesting thread about PADI vs. NAUI.

handimannbob 10-31-2006 10:25 AM

ot here...last year we had only a few 16-18 year olds on holloween...we are giving it up this year...i think that violence in the air has stopped it

Jim Sachs 10-31-2006 11:07 AM

Yodelking - Yes, I have thought of that.

ESHIREY 10-31-2006 11:25 AM

Cool.

Jav400 10-31-2006 11:31 AM

I'm hopeing that we would get to use the new background with the old fish to start with, and then Jim could work on them as he goes. I could live with that.

ESHIREY 10-31-2006 11:33 AM

Same here.

handimannbob 10-31-2006 11:34 AM

me too jav

Wizwad 10-31-2006 03:46 PM

You could, but could Jim? ;)

nicksteel 10-31-2006 07:49 PM

Actually, MA has always been a "work in progress" and most enjoyable to watch evolve over the years! In fact, looking back, watching the evolution has been the major attaction to me. I personally don't look forward to any "final" version.

handimannbob 11-01-2006 12:13 AM

a never ending story....

DeepSeaFan 11-11-2006 12:55 PM

:) Sorry I haven't been here for a while; I'm starting high school and have had to get adjusted to a bigger school schedule. I'm glad that progress is being made on the new aquarium.:TU:

Jav400 11-11-2006 03:00 PM

Glad to have you back DeepSeaFan.

Jim,

Have any progress reports you would like to share?

Jim Sachs 11-11-2006 04:28 PM

Just sittin' here working on the cave.

Tiny Turtle 11-11-2006 05:03 PM

"Working on the top of the cave" is a favorite song of mine with Otis Redding...

Jim Sachs 11-11-2006 05:12 PM

Well, since that's exactly what I'm working on - the "mushrooms" over the entrance to the cave - I guess I'll have to find that song and listen to it while I work.

Tiny Turtle 11-11-2006 05:51 PM

Find it here...

:)

cjmaddy 11-11-2006 06:32 PM

Let us know when you find it, Jim. ;)
