Good morning one question Mr. Sachs will 3.0 run on a 64 bit gateway I talked my sister inlaw into buying 2.6 which ran fine until she bought a new gateway now the fish vanish except for there tails and fins her computer has a ati card Thank you oh yes I have been running ss since .99 and I will buy 3.0 when it is ready again Thank you
|
Without knowing what video card you have in that machine a definitive answer is not possible, but if it is a recently purchased machine then most probably yes.
As for the other machine, its not the machine but the video card you have installed in it. You could probably update the video drivers for that card and the program would run fine again. ATI video drivers are iffy at best. Generally you need to try several different ones to obtain one that will work properly. PS. Welcome to our forum. :) |
Thank you and gool luck on getting 3.0 out Mr.Sachs

Extremely close hmm sounds nice.
BUT i have some problems with my laptop MSI L745, whenever the screensaver starts i can only see it for 1 sec and then it is going away, like i touch the mousse or a key. there is nothing running in the background Anyone has an idea??? im using VISTA 32 bit home premium Thanks |
Highlander - There are a couple of possibilities.
The easiest one first: make sure "Exit on Mouse Move" is off. Sometimes a mouse can send random signals even when it's not moving. The other possibility is that something really is running in the background, but you don't know it. Actually, there are probably at least 50 things running in the background on a Vista machine. While they don't usually generate Interrupt messages which would kill the Aquarium, it's been known to happen. Music players, network and Internet routines, MagicJack - make absolutly sure that nothing is trying to bring up a window. |
Thanks Jim , i will check this out first thing in the morning
