Those aren't headphones. Those are earmuffs to dampen the fan in the FX!

I've heard mp3s recorded of that fan!

The fan is as loud as reviews have stated, but during a session of UT2003 I can't even hear it.

Oh, so you bought the card from NewEgg, I used to buy from them quite a bit. That card is very pricey though, so I give you points for being willing to spend the $$$ to get it.
